The members of the Olefins panel support efforts to improve the industry’s responsible management of chemicals. To assist in this effort, the Panel supported the creation and publication of a manual to provide the reader with a better understanding of how butadiene is manufactured and used to produce products that play an important role in our lives.
This manual has been developed for use by producers and industrial users of butadiene. It focuses on the health, safety, and environmental aspects associated with manufacturing, distributing, using, and disposing of 1, 3-butadiene.
